People First by MHR is a comprehensive HR and payroll platform used across the UK and Ireland, supporting workforce management, HR administration, and payroll processing in one system.
Our one-way integration sends employee data directly from Pinpoint to People First, so you can create fully formed employee records without re-keying information. When a candidate reaches your chosen stage in Pinpoint, their details are pushed into People First and assigned to the correct job vacancy.
With Pinpoint and People First, you can:

Create a complete employee record in People First with personal details, contact information, NI number, and more

Add bank details and emergency contacts during the same workflow

Assign the new hire directly to a vacant job position

Automatically sync key dropdown fields from your People First instance, including titles, legislations, genders, marital statuses, countries, and jobs

Validate job vacancies before creating the employee record to prevent assignment errors

How it works
The People First integration is a one-way, push-only connection from Pinpoint to People First.
When a candidate is marked as hired and reaches your configured stage in Pinpoint:

Pinpoint creates a person record in People First using the candidate’s personal and employment details.

If provided, bank details are added to the employee record.

If provided, emergency contact details are created and linked.

The employee is assigned to a selected vacant job position in People First.
To ensure accuracy and alignment with your HRIS:

Nine dynamic dropdown fields are pulled live from your People First instance, including titles, legislations, sexes, genders, marital statuses, relationships, address countries, bank countries, and jobs.

API credentials are validated in real time when configuring the integration.

The integration checks that the selected job is vacant before creating the employee record.

If part of the process succeeds, for example the person record is created but bank details fail, Pinpoint displays a clear partial success message so your team knows exactly what needs attention.
You can trigger the integration automatically using Stage Actions in Pinpoint, so employee creation happens at exactly the right moment in your hiring workflow.
