Hi there 👋

This month we’re sharing updates that will improve the hiring manager experience. Include more information for hiring managers in interview toolkits, improve reporting, and get more done, faster.   

Let’s dive in…

Review application answers in interview toolkit

Include more team members in interviews and equip them with the information they need. Anyone who is assigned to an interview will be able to review the application questions and answers along with the candidate resume and scorecards, even if they do not have full visibility of the role.

Filter reports by interview date and onboarding completion date

In the Interview Insights Report, you can now filter by the date of the interview itself to get greater visibility over interview resource management, the pace of your hiring process, and engagement with certain candidates.

If your team uses Onboarding, you can also filter reports by onboarding completion date. This allows you to create a CSW of all candidate data in any custom column order so you can set up FTP delivery for better managing HRIS data input.

Add Non-Company Referral Managers

We have created a new role type that will allow your team to have non-company admins manage your referrals programs if needed.

Notify candidates when canceling an interview

If you have to cancel an interview, you can now send an automated email to notify candidates right away. Any affected interviewers with notifications set up will also receive an update, keeping everyone in the loop. The calendar event status will change to “canceled” in their calendars to minimize confusion.

Get more done, faster

API Developments

We are currently undertaking a big upgrade to the capabilities we allow in our API. As of this update, users now have the ability to get interview data, view comments on a candidate, and create comments programmatically.

We also rolled out multiple Pinpoint API keys and the ability to set permissions for each key so you can have granular control over who can do what.

We will have a lot more to come in our API which will excite anyone wanting more 2-way integrations and actions happening back in to Pinpoint!

 

Speed Improvements

We have been working hard over the last 6-8 weeks to analyze slow performing areas of the application and improve speed by decreasing load time for all users meaning you can do more, faster.

A monthly tip from Pinpoint power users...

Hiring Managers can create public profiles that are visible to applicants when the manager is assigned to a job in Pinpoint. Prospective candidates will get a better understanding of what it’s like to work on your team and can better prepare for interviews. Learn more here.
