The Predictive Index and Pinpoint ATS integration

With Pinpoint and The Predictive Index, you can pick the right person for your organisation faster and with more confidence.

The integration lets you send candidates for assessment directly from Pinpoint and receive results back automatically. You can use both Behavioural Assessments and Cognitive Assessments to better understand how candidates think, behave, and approach their work.

Jobs are pulled directly from The Predictive Index, so assessments always match the right role. The integration also prevents the same type of assessment being sent more than once to a candidate.

Once a candidate completes an assessment, results appear in Pinpoint straight away. Hiring teams can view scores, open full reports, and get notified as soon as results arrive, all without leaving Pinpoint.

This makes it easier to spot strong candidates early and move the right people forward with confidence.

How does the Pinpoint and The Predictive Index integration work?

With Predictive Index and Pinpoint you can:

  • Send Behavioral and Cognitive Assessments to candidates from Pinpoint
  • Choose from jobs that are automatically pulled from The Predictive Index
  • Avoid sending the same assessment type to a candidate more than once
  • See assessment progress and results update automatically in Pinpoint
  • View scores and open detailed reports from the candidate profile
  • Notify hiring team members when results are ready
  • Use assessment insights to shortlist and progress the best candidates

How to connect Pinpoint and The Predictive Index

You can easily and instantly connect Pinpoint and Predictive Index by:

  • Adding the Predictive Index app under the integrations menu in your Pinpoint account.
  • Create an API key by visiting this page or contacting your Predictive Index account manager. 
  • Add the API key to Pinpoint, and click save.
  • Press the ‘Disabled’ toggle in the top right corner until it reads ‘Enabled’.
  • You’re all set! To send a candidate a PI assessment, click on the three dots in the top right of the candidate’s application, and click “Send Predictive Index Assessment”.

About The Predictive Index

The Predictive Index is a workplace assessment that measures a person’s personality and cognitive abilities to help hiring managers evaluate potential employees. The PI is designed to provide a more comprehensive view of a candidate than a resume or CV, which are focused on skills and experience.
